Care Guide

Tumblers

  • To keep your 20oz tumbler looking its best, we recommend the

    following care tips:

  • Dishwasher Safe: Your tumbler is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning;

however, please remember that the lid is NOT dishwasher safe, hand

wash it only with warm, soapy water to maintain its integrity.

  • Storage: For optimal care, store your tumbler with the lid off. This

allows for proper air circulation and helps keep it fresh.

  • Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Please do NOT microwave or freeze

your tumbler, as this can affect its performance.

  • Scuff Removal: If you notice a scuff on the powder-coated exterior

(not a scratch), a gentle buff with a magic eraser will typically do the

    trick to restore its shine.

  • Stain Treatment: For any stubborn stains inside the cup, use non-

abrasive cleaning agents specifically designed for stainless steel,

such as Bar Keepers Friend, to keep your tumbler looking pristine.

  • With a little love and care, your tumbler will continue to be your

reliable companion for all your adventures!

Cutting Boards

Regular Cleaning

  • To keep your personalized Acacia wood cutting board looking its best,

it's essential to clean it after every use. Gently wash it with warm

water and mild soap, ensuring you dry it thoroughly to maintain the

finish. Remember, never let your cutting board soak in the sink, as

prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to warping and cracking.

After washing, dry it by hand and stand it on its edge to air dry

    completely.

  • Avoid using harsh cleaning products like alcohol or bleach, as these

can dry out the wood. The natural oils in the wood provide water

resistance, making it easy to care for while preserving its beauty.

    Season It

  • Just like cast iron cookware, your Acacia wood cutting board benefits

from regular seasoning. This involves applying food-grade mineral oil

to keep the wood hydrated and protected. Warm a small amount of

mineral oil in a saucepan (but don’t let it get hot), then pour it onto the

board. Use circular motions to rub the oil into the wood, ensuring

every part, including the edges, is covered.

  • Important Note: Avoid using cooking oils, as they can turn rancid. In

addition to mineral oil, beeswax can also be used for added

    protection.

  • Why is seasoning important? Regular oiling helps prevent moisture

from penetrating the wood, keeping your board looking great for years

to come. We recommend oiling your cutting board monthly to maintain

its appearance. If you use it frequently, consider oiling it every two

    weeks for optimal care.

  • By following these simple steps, you can ensure that your

personalized Acacia wood cutting board remains a cherished kitchen

companion for many meals to come!
